A little monster movie from 1999, Virus was made quite a while after the original screenplay was penned. At the time, it wasn't quite as possible to do the funny movies kinds of special effects that would be required, so it was made into a Dark Horse comic instead. Eventually, the story would be put to the film - but at what (blog post) cost?
